The Tennant BioModulator® technology is frequently mistaken for conventional TENS (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) units. Our Tennant BioModulator® devices are FDA approved as micro-current devices for the symptomatic relief and management of chronic, intractable, post-surgical, and post-traumatic pain. The average TENS unit does not have the same unique output signature that the Tennant BioModulators® has.

The TENS devices first were made in the 1930s with electrical signals that the body would quickly become used to after repeated usage. TENS units can even cause burning of the skin due to the relentless high-intensity, while the BioModulators® microcurrents are much gentler and rarely are felt by the user.
