Senergy Spotlight: Reggie Rayford Jr.

Meet Reggie Rayford Jr.

Senergy: What is your practice, and what types of services do you offer?

Reggie: My practice focuses on stress management and rehabilitation, offering a holistic approach to detoxifying the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. I specialize in acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, and emotional wellness.  Also I offer sports management and recovery therapies for athletes such as Chinese Medical Massage. These modalities support overall health by addressing imbalances and promoting natural healing processes.

Senergy: What inspired you to enter this field? What do you love about it?

Reggie: I was deeply inspired by the teachings of Dr. Sebi, Dr. Laila Afrika, Dr. Yahki Awakened, Dr. Bobby Price, and Dr. Matula Shakur. Coming from a lineage of healers as the 11th doctor in my family, I’ve been fortunate to learn from some of the best minds in natural medicine. What I love most about this field is how it has opened my eyes to a lifestyle of true wellness, not only for myself but for my community. I’m passionate about being part of the movement that is reshaping healthcare by offering people natural, transformative solutions that they may not find elsewhere.

Senergy: How do you integrate the Tennant Devices into your practice & personal lifestyle?

Reggie: I utilize the Tennant Microcurrent Devices, including the BioTransducer, to reset the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and target areas of injury for pain relief. In my practice, I find these devices essential for helping clients recharge, recover, and reduce anxiety. Personally, I also use them to prepare mentally for my day, enhancing my focus when working with clients and ensuring clarity when studying and expanding my knowledge.

Senergy: Tell us about your favorite patient recovery story.

Reggie: One memorable case involved a client who had suffered a back injury that worsened over time due to her sedentary work-from-home lifestyle.

After two years of attempting various treatments without success, she found me on Yelp. Following just one session, her pain levels significantly reduced and stayed manageable for 3-5 days. Although she later underwent a laminectomy on her doctor’s advice, which provided temporary relief, she continued to experience chronic pain that wasn’t fully diagnosed. After a thorough assessment, I identified gluteal muscle impairment as the root cause, which allowed me to tailor a more effective treatment plan. Her recovery has been an ongoing journey, but the personalized care has provided substantial improvement where other interventions had failed.

Senergy: How can people get in touch with you, and what area do you service?

Reggie: You can reach me via email at docyahqi@gmail.com. I am based in Phoenix, AZ, but I also travel to meet the needs of my clients in various locations. My website is https://docyahqiwellness.com.
