What is the autonomic nervous system?
The state of our nervous systems is closely linked to the presence of anxiety and depression in our lives.
Our parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems are what make up our whole autonomic nervous system. The parasympathetic system is responsible for restoring our body back to a default mode of calm composure, and the sympathetic system is in charge of our fight & flight responses.
